| Description of crystallography, crystal, crystallization definitions and crystal systems. Symmetry and symmetry elements. Crystal and mineral chemistry, bonds. Introduction to mineralogy, Mineral, mineraloid, amorphous, ore and industrial mineral concepts. Chemical, physical, mechanical and optical properties of minerals. Systematic (descriptive) mineralogy (natural elements, sulfides, oxides, carbonates, borates, silicates, etc.) Introduction to magmatic petrography.
