Course Description |
The course covers topics in visual communication through practice based, hands on exercises in visualization and perspective drawing. The course covers the following subjects: Perspective theory and drawing (free hand perspectives of simple geometrical shapes, axonometric perspectives, rules for one and two vanishing point perspectives, standing point, variations of the vertical and horizontal viewing angles, representing object or building perspectives in its environment, shade and shadow in multi-view and axonometric views, examples and applications to perspectives of details, explanation of the perspectives used in design presentation, rendering and toning techniques);
externalization and visualization techniques (mapping - cognitive, behavioral, spatial and etc., diagramming, sketching, mood-boards, story-boards and scenario-boards), presentation techniques (basics of graphic design, composition, collage, poster, using infographics, typography and symbols). |
