The conceptual basis of urban and regional planning. Concepts of environment, human
settlements, and town planning; basic information about human settlements presented in
the order of village, town, metropolis, megalopolis, new town and urban functions.
Definition of urban planning and team work concept. Conceptual explanation of planning
as a general system, urban planning process and its phases. Sustainable urban
