Course Description
Foundations of music: Staff, G and F clefs, whole note, half note, quarter note, technique of writing notes. Tetrachords, and scales. Degrees in major scale, identifying them by listening and vocalizing them. Key signature and tone relationship. Solfeges exercises which are in major scale in diatonic form at degrees and vocalizing them in C tone. Rhythmic- polirhytmic exercises.
