Course Description |
Japanese 3 / JPN201 In this A2 level course, students are expected to be able to use “Hiragana” and “Katakana” without difficulty. In addition to the 50 kanji studied in A1 level, about 80 more kanji characters are studied, and the students are expected to be able to recognize these kanji characters. In this course, students are expected to be able to talk about themselves, their families, and their hobbies in more detail. They should also be able to talk about seasons and weather. They are expected to be able to talk about their cities, and things that can be done in those places. They are also expected to be able to compare their languages and cultures with Japanese language and culture. |
