Basic concepts and definitions of fluids. Units and dimensions. Dimensional analysis and similarity. Fluid statics. Bernoulli
equation and applications. Equations of conservation of mass, momentum and energy for systems and control volumes. Flow in
pipes and ducts. Laminar and turbulent boundary layers. Major and minor losses in pipes. Flow and pressure measurements.
