Course Description
Information on Âşık music (Minstrel music). Performance of some examples of the repertories of Yunus Emre in the 13th century, Kaygusuz Abdal in the 15th century, Şah İsmail (Hatayi), Pir Sultan Abdal, Kul Himmet, Köroğlu ve Karacaoğlan in the 16th century, Teslim Abdal, Gevheri, Ercişli Emrah in the 17th century. Aşık Dertli, Dadaloğlu, Erzurumlu Emrah, Âşık Bayburtlu Zihni, Âşık Seyrani, Âşık Ruhsati in the 19th century, Âşık Veysel, Âşık Çobanoğlu ve Âşık Şeref Taşlıova in the 20th century.
