| Course Description |
| Basic approach, posture and manner in chorus performance. Communication of ensemble members from the point of
language and musical sense. Determination of the pieces those will be practiced in the semester. Performance of İstiklal
March, Conservatory March, ITU Engineers March, On Kasım Ağıtı, Teacher March, Bayrağım and Başaklar İçinde for the
polyphonic music branch. Performance of examples of Deyiş, Halay, Güvende, Barana Havası and Güzelleme repertories for
Turkish Folk Music branch. Performance of pieces composed in şarkı form in Rast and Uşşak makams; in Yürük Semai and
Şarkı forms in Bayati and Hüseyni makams; in şarkı and köçekçe forms in Karcığar and Suzinak makams, in şarkı forms in
Hicaz makam for Turkish Art Music branch. |
