Course Description |
An introduction to the sources of air pollution, transport of gaseous and particulate pollutants in the atmosphere on local and global
scales, transformations of pollutants by atmospheric processes, impact of airborne pollutants on the environment, control of sources
of air pollution, and legislative mandates. Introduction to meteorological concepts and computer transport models, and current
issues such as ozone depletion and global warming are also discussed. |
