Course Description
The case studies regarding mines in Turkey, their potential and locations are given. Types of the mine beds and their geological origins. Selection of the more suitable geophysical methods for prospecting various metallic or non-metallic mine zones. A brief classification of the geophysical methods and their physical parameters, field array, equipment, interpretation techniques. Interpretation of a combined dataset from the multi-disciplinary geophysical prospecting of a mineralization zone.
