| Course Description |
| To comprehend vocal and instrumental characteristics of folk music pieces. To define the identity of lyrics in terms of shape,
form, genre and variation. To determine the familiarity between melody and the issues such as; the style of poem,
expression, meter, rest, rhyme, literary arts and to comprehend the cultural continuity. To perceive and exemplify the
relationship between melody and lyrics; melody, lyrics and rhythm; and melody, lyrics, rhythm, form and body movements.
To analyze the meaning and theme of lyrics. Phonetic characteristics in terms of melody and lyrics, Language/dialect and
prosody analysis. Analysis of terms and idioms according to literary characteristics. |
