Course Description |
Subsurface geological maps are the most important tools in order to explore and develop subsurface resources.
This course aims to teach the construction and interpretation of subsurface geological maps by using classical and
modern techniques, including contouring, evaluation of well logs, integration of geophysical data, cross sections,
fault and structure maps. We also cover the application of these techniques to specific tectonic environments such
as extensional, compressional and strike-slip zones. |
