Course Description |
Magnetic circuits and flux, properties of magnetic materials and losses, permanent magnet types and their properties, magnetic
circuits with permanent magnets, fundamental laws related to electromagnetic fields, transformers, phasor diagrams, equivalent-
circuit parameters, force developed on a current-carrying conductor, induced voltage across a conductor moving in magnetic
field, conservation of energy and balance equation, the relationships between magnetic or electric field and force or torque,
magneto motor force(MMF) in rotating machines, induced voltage and torque in AC and DC machines. |
