Course Description
Main elements of forms in Turkish Music such as figure, motive, sentence, phrase, period. The forms of Fasıl. Peşrev, medhal, kar, karçe, kar-ı natık, murabba, nakış, ağır semai, yürük semai, saz semai, sirto, longa, mandra. Marş, semai, şarkı, gazel, köçekçe, divan, kanto, operet, hayal musikisi: karagöz, müstezad, bahariye, folk song, Analysis and practices on the works.
