Course Description |
Overview of vocal physiology. Psychological and anatomical structure of voice. Types of the phonation of voice and
differences between various registers. Types of vocal cords diseases, pathological cases and precautions. Relationship
between register and laryngeal mechanisms. Laryngeal physiology, glottal signal, acoustical parameters and perceptional
dimensions differences between registers. Articulation and formants. Differences of velum, velopharyngeal configuration.
Nasality. Analysis on examples of phonation characteristics seen in traditional musics in the world. Analysis on examples local
phonation characteristics in Anatolia. |
