Basic aspects of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Governing equations of fluid dynamics, Initial and boundary value
problems, classification of partial differential equations, Finite difference formulations, stability analysis, Parabolic equations
explicit and implicit methods, ADI method, Elliptic equations: Jacobi, Gauss-Seidel and SOR iteration. Upwind-Downwind
methods. Solution of basic engineering problems by commercial flow solvers. |
