Course Description |
Evaluation of social and cultural life and general information about music in 17th century Ottoman history. Evaluation of the
works of composers such as Hafız Post, Itri, Tab’i Mustafa Efendi, lived in the 17th century, when the Turkish Makam Music
characteristics began to form, in terms of makam, rhythmic patterns and lyrics. Studying the lyrics and compositions in Hafız
Post Lyrics Manuscript. Analyze the works in Mecmua-i Saz-ü Söz, in terms of composition, form, makam and rhythmic
patterns. Three Mevlevi Ayins:Beste-i Kadim and their analysis. Analyze religious music in this era. Analyze the edvars written
in this era and their evaluation. |
