| Course Description |
| The course aims to provide a comprehensive knowledge related with external wall systems/components, to understand
performance of existing external wall systems in place, and to develop the skills of designing sustainable external wall systems. In
the scope of the course, performance of external wall systems under environmental condititons, basic principles related to failures
observed on surface of external wall system, reasons of failures and solution proposals are discussed. An external wall system is
designed by considering the basic principles related to sustainable external wall systems. |
