| Course Description |
| Basic information about solar angles and solar radiation is given. Based on the basic information, design parameters (site,
orientation, building form, distance between buildings) are explained in detail to provide optimum benefit from solar energy. In
order to use the appropriate values of the design parameters in the design process, detailed explanation is presented related to
solar houses, solar control devices, solar collectors, photovoltaic panels and the integration of these panels with the architectural
system. Furthermore, a study aiming to application the course topics on a solar house project is also carried out. |
