Review of conservation equations. Viscous flows, analytical solutions of Newtonian viscous-flow equations: Couette flow,
Poiseuille flow, Stoke's first and second problems. Low-Reynolds number flows. Similarity solutions. Laminar boundary layers.
Blasius and Falkner-Skan solutions. Boundary layer separation. Plane and axisymmetric (round) laminar jets. Compressible
boundary layers. Turbulent flow. Turbulent boundary layers. Plane and axisymmetric turbulent jets. |
