Course Description

The course consists of four weeks theoretical lectures in class that will be follwed by weekly seminars at historical quarters of Istanbul. During these seminars the history of the quarter, their socio-cultural structure of the area together with the architectural heritage and present situation will be investigated and presented on spot via presentations done by the students and lectures.
