Introduction. Presentation of process control systems. Sensors and actuators used in process control systems. Dynamic behavior
of process control systems, and its modelling. Obtaining the models of process control systems from experimenta data. Multi
degree of freedom process control systems. Feedforward and feedback controller. Internal model control structures. PID
controller tuning methods. Special process control systems structures: Smith predictor; Ratio control; Set-point regulator;
Cascade control. Introduction to predictive control. Introduction to two input-two output (TITO) process control systems. |
