Course Description |
This course gives a comprehensive explanation of micrometeorology, its basic theories of physics, mechanisms, measurement
procedures and methods, and how micrometeorological processes interact and affect the meso- and large-scale atmospheric
motion. Atmospheric boundary layer, the importance of turbulence in the atmospheric boundary layer, and its effects are
determined. Surface energy budget, radiation balance, soil temperature, heat transfer, dynamic stability are studied. Near-neutral
boundary is examined. Similarity hypothesis are learned. The methods for determining momentum and heat fluxes are studied. |
