Introduction to reinforced concrete (RC) high-rise buildings. Load carrying systems in high-rise buildings. Wind, earthquake and
other loads. Shear wall-framed system subjected to earthquake loads. Ductility concept and realization on the high rise buildings.
Rayleigh method for fundamental period calculation. Design of RC shear wall and coupled beams. Dynamical analysis of high-rise
