Occurrence, resources, and utilization of natural gases. Review of physical and thermodynamic properties of gases. Water content and
hydrates of natural gases. Flow of gases in pipes and wells. Metering, compression, and storage means of natural gas. Regional and
local distribution of natural gas. Heating value, Wobbe index, heat load, deflagration, and combustion. Natural gas burners, boilers,
and burning appliances. Chimneys: types, design, and installation. Installation design of natural gas flow lines in buildings. |
