| Course Description |
| Major issues of industrial wastewater management. Significant pollutant parameters and wastewater characterization.
Refractory, toxic industrial pollutants. Treatability based wastewater characterization. Evaluation of segregated stream
characterization. Segregated stream characterization and treatment requirements. Industrial applications of
physicochemical treatment processes: flotation, coagulation-flocculation, membrane filtration, ozonation, photolysis and
advanced chemical oxidation processes. Industrial applications of biological treatment processes. Integrated treatment
systems. Case studies. |
