| Course Description |
| It will be chronologically started with the building programs of the Byzantine emperors
Constantine the Great and Justinian. The major projects of the Ottoman period, like those of
Mehmet II and Süleyman the Magnificient, the new architectural concepts of the era of
Ahmet III and the urban scale proposals of the 19th century will be treated in succession.
Finally the Prost plan and the new layout under Menderes will be displayed as 20th
century
examples. Certain foci will be determined according to the interest of the students. |
