language and musical sense. determination of the pieces those will be practiced in the semester. Performance of İstiklal
March, Conservatory March, ITU Engineers March, Santa Lucia, Yaşa Atatürk, The Magic Flute and Ilgaz Türküsü for the
polyphonic music branch. Performance of examples of Halay, Zeybek and Sallama Havası repertories for Turkish Folk Music
branch. Performance of pieces composed in Kar, Beste, Ağır Semai, Yürük Semai and Şarkı forms in Rast, Uşşak, Beyati,
Hüseyni, Muhayyer, Neva, Tahir, Karcığar, Suzinak, Buselik, Hicaz, Nihavent, Nikriz, Neveser makams for Turkish Art Music
