| Course Description |
| Determination of the pieces those will be practiced in the semester. Performance of “Teacher March, Sen Sanmadığın Yerde”,
“Köroğlu Türküsü” and “Mevsim Sonu” for the polyphonic music branch. Performance of examples of Semah, urban folk music
style, verbal dance tunes (Central Anatolian), and Azerbaijani style repertories for Turkish Folk Music branch. Performance of
pieces composed in Kar, Beste, Ağır Semai, Yürük Semai and Şarkı forms in Mahur, Şedaraban, Sultanıyegah, Acemaşiran,
Acemkürdi, Saba, Dügah, Segah, Müstear, Hüzzam, Hicazkar, Kürdilihicazkar makams for Turkish Art Music branch. |
