Course Description |
This course provides extensive coverage of various aspect of total synthesis such as retrosynthetic analysis, functional group
interconversions (FGI)’s, chemoselectivity, regioselectivity, stereoselectivity, protecting group, the carbon-carbon bond forming
reactions using stabilized carbanions, ylides, enamines, and transition metal catalysis. In addition, the course covers the common
“name reactions” used in organic syntheses. |
