Course Description |
Psychology of music. The art of music and psychology. The definition of psychology, research methods,
perception, memory, personality. Anatomy and Music. Physiology in relation to music. The central nervous. Tactile
aspects of sound and bone conduction. Sensory thresholds and reaction times. The definition of music
psychology. Tone and sensation, elements of music, influence of the music, the musical ability, musical critics,
psychological analysis of the compositions and performances. Pitch. Intertones, subjective tones. Loudness.
Quality. Sense of time. Volume, brightness and characteristics of tone. Masking effect. Bineural phenomena.
