| This no-lecture course contains a design project with all the design phases starting from project selection to completion and
presentation. The project should include the definition of the design topic and the aims of the project, a literature survey on the
project subject, the methods and analysis techniques for reaching the goals of the project, design, simulation, validation and
experimental tests, and a discussion for the results obtained with the design. The students conduct their work mainly in an
individual frame but they may also work in teams. In evaluating the project, the strength of the design component which i
ncorporates engineering standards and realistic constraints, the creativity and authenticity of the project and finally a strong p
resentation are of main importance. |
