| Electrical power quality definition, electrical power quality problems (Interruption, voltage sag and swell, undervoltage,
overvoltage, voltage unbalance, waveform distortion, voltage fluctuation, frequency variations, transient overvoltage) and
effects. Fundamental of harmonics, electrical network modelling in harmonic domain, harmonic analysis, harmonic resonance
and filter design. Grounding technique for sensitive equipment. Effects of distributed generation on power quality. Voltage
regulation and devices. Power quality monitoring systems. Power quality cost analysis. |
