| Introduction to physical structure of the Karadeniz kemençe, holding the kemençe and thebow. Playing while
standing and sitting. Tuning systems, the names of thestrings. Bowing exercises. Exercises for clear sounds on
the strings withoutpressing. Double string exercises without pressing. Passing from double stringto single string
and exercises for straight bowing. Exercise for rhythmical stylein the starting and ending points by pulling the bow
on the double string.Exercises for changing the direction of the bow according to the melodies.Tuning systems
