| Course Description |
| General information about Bas Kemence and low kemence quintet. Holding position of the Bas Kemence, holding
of the bow, parts and attributes of usage, etudes of using the bow, various note values and bowing and bow slur
exercises. Exercises for using four fingers on each string with tempered intervals on first position and
transposition via its application on other strings. Application of various bowing techniques to suitable melodies.
Scales and etudes, interludes, small children’s songs and suitable folk songs. Scales on Rast, Uşşak, Hicaz,
Acemaşiran, Mahur, Nihavend makams, interludes, peşrevs, saz semais. |
